The Blazers had a trio honored as part of the 2026 Herald Tribune All-Area Baseball teams.
Evan Poznanski stood out as a second team selection. The junior led the team with a .393 batting average and .525 on base percentage, while tallying 12 extra base hits, 3 triples, and 3 home runs; all team highs. In addition, Poznanski led the team in RBI's with 29, runs scored with 22, and stolen bases with 15. Seniors
Collin Lawson and
Justin Brock joined Poznanski on the highly talented All-Area team as honorable mention selections. Both were right behind Poznanski on the team with .344 & .461 (Lawson) and .333 & .472 (Brock) in batting, while also knocking seventeen extra base hits between the two of them. Lawson was second on the team with 17 RBI's, while Brock was 3rd in runs scored with 20 and second in stolen bases with 11. In the field, Brock was a perfect 29 for 29, while throwing out 3 runners from the outfield.Â
