Blazer Baseball traveled to Fort Myers to take on the Cougars from Canterbury School. The Cougars, currently ranked as the top school in 1A baseball in the state of Florida and the fifth best team in all of baseball within the state, came out firing on all cylinders as they launched a pair of solo home runs off Blazer lefty
Justin Brock in the first inning, en route to a 4-0 lead coming out of the first inning. Inning number two for Brock on the mound was much like the first, beginning with a lead off home run and resulting in a four run inning for the Cougars. In the third inning,
Bronson Hoke entered the game and took to the mound, but wasn't able to hold the Cougar bats as they'd score eight runs in the third inning, launching another home run during the inning. In the top of the fourth, the Blazers finally got their first hit of the game as Brock would find the grass on a liner to the center fielder. But that was all the Blazers would get as the game would end at the end of the top of the fourth by a score of 16-0 in favor of the Cougars.
The Blazers season ends at 13-11.
