Blazers struggle defensively

Last nigh the (10-9) Blazers took on the (6-11) Seminoles in their last game of the regular season. The Blazers had previously faced the Noles the week before and took the 14-11 win on the road. Starting on the bump for the Blazers was Freshman Justin Brock, who is 4-2 on the season. Dr.Fisk, who had a great legacy at SCS, was honored as he threw out the first pitch. To start things off, Southeast would pick up a base or two, and eventually bring in 2 runs. Justin was able to get out of the jam, and would lead off for the blazers in the first. SCS was able to create some momentum getting Brock 90 feet away from scoring. He would eventually go on to score on a wild pitch. Southeast had base runners all night but the game was tight through four. SCS made some pitching changes to keep everyone healthy looking ahead for their playoff game. As the Blazers lost juice, the Noles didn't let up bringing in 7 runs through the 6th and 7th inning. The Blazers would go on to lose 11-4 splitting the season series between the Seminoles. The Blazers kept their heads up and are back to work as they get ready for the first round of playoffs against the Heat. They play on Monday, 5/1 at 7pm at SCS.
