The Blazers opened the season with 2-6 loss to Bradenton Christian. It was a close game throughout with Randall Collins having a great night on the mound. SCS could not come up with timely hitting as they stranded 15 base runners. 

The Blazers traveled to Bell Creek for their second game. Xavier Hill, Collin Lawson and Rowen Baum all pitched two innings, Hill allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, Lawson allowed 5 runs on 1 hit and struck out 3, Baum allowed 2 runs on 1 hit and also struck out 3, Evan Paznanski led the team with 2 hits and had the teams only RBI, Bell Creek improved to 2-0 as Sarasota Christian falls to 0-2, next game will be Thursday vs Gulf coast heat
