SCS Blazers Baseball team took Tuesday's home opener in dramatic fashion with an 11-10 walk-off victory over Bradenton Christian and their first win against them in over 9 years!
Randall Collins doubled to give teh Blazers the lead in the bottom of the 6th only to see the Panters tie it up in the top of the 7th at 10. In the bottom of the seventh
James White singled to left and eventually scored on a play at the plate resulting from a
Collin Lawson sacrifice bunt and Bradenton Christian over throw.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as SCS collected 12 hits and BCS had 6 in the high scoring affair.
Hunter George tied the game up at 2 by hitting a single in the bottom of the first but Blazers played from behind all night until the end. The Blazers amasses 12 hits in the game,
Randall Collins,
Evan Poznanski, Justin Borck and
Rowan Baum each collected 2 hits for the Blazers.
The Blazers Baseball team will host Admiral Farragut Thursday at 6:00pm for the second home game of the season.
