Over the weekend the Lady Blazers traveled to Orlando to play in the SSAA tournament. The team went 1-1 for the weekend. Friday night they played Real Life Christian Academy and lost 15-8. Dev McLaughlin and Ashton Klinger both had a multiple hit evening. McLaughlin with 4 and Klinger with 3. Ella Aylsworth drove in 2 runs. Brooklyn Loftus pitched all 7 innings and had a total of 13 strikeouts. On Saturday the Lady Blazers played City of Life Christian Academy winning 9-4. Sierra Godwin and McLaughlin had 2 hits a piece. Godwin and McLaughlin drove in a total of 5 runs. Aylsworth, Angie Gomez-Linares, Dakota Guerrero, Selah Spenn, and Alice Nouri all had 1 hit. Klinger started on the mound and threw 2 complete innings with 3 strikeouts. Loftus came in for 5 innings and had 4 strikeouts. The Lady Blazers next game is Monday against Lakeside Christian School at 3:30pm.
