Blazer Softball hosted Admiral Farragut Academy at Sarasota High School on Tuesday evening for their home opener of the 2026 season. Admiral scored one in the first inning and that was it until the top of the fifth inning when they struck for another three runs and then again in the sixth inning for twelve to push the game out of reach at 16-0. The Blazers were only able to muster one hit in the game, coming from the bat of Nora Blasewitz in her Blazer debut. Brooklyn Loftus was inside the pitching circle for the Blazers, giving up sixteen runs on twenty two hits, but pitching a great game for the opening five innings. Loftus struck out seven Blue Jacket hitters.

The Blazers next game is set for next Tuesday at Bradenton Christian at 6pm.
