The Blazers Boys Baseball team faced off on Friday, March 20th against a talented Imagine School at North Port squad. These two teams meet every year, making this match-up one of the most anticipated games of the season—and it did not disappoint.
The game remained intense from start to finish, coming down to the final inning. Justin Brock delivered an outstanding performance on the mound, going all seven innings and allowing only four hits and just one run, while striking out ten batters in his first start of the season. The Blazers' defense was equally impressive, highlighted by Will Papineau's clutch throw from center field to cut down a runner at home plate during the Sharks' final inning at-bat.
Brock led the team, batting 2-3 with an RBI triple in the second inning that proved to be the winning run.
Brock then sealed the victory by recording the final out, securing a hard-fought and exciting win for the Blazers.
The Blazers will be back in action on Tuesday, March 24th against Ruskin Christian.
