Sarasota Christian played in the opening round of the SSAA tournament. They faced off against First Academy Leesburg. The Lady Blazers came out with strong bats, as a team earning 11 hits. Giada Down, Selah Spenn, Kinsley Grieser, and Nora Blasewitz each had 2 hits. Down had 3 RBIs. Brooklyn Loftus pitched all 7 innings for the Blazers. She threw a total of 4 strike outs and only allowed 3 hits. The Lady Blazers will play for the 3A Championship on Saturday, April 11 at 11am against Oasis Christian School.
